A step back in time using MRD's original logo from 1982, seen first on the MK1 number plates Tim designed and cut by hand for himself and friends.

This is the very first time this logo has appeared on any product since then and the first time MRD has ever made headwear, of any kind.

Merino wool is special, cool when it's hot, warm when cold, anti bacterial so it wont get smelly and naturally water resistant. This isn't a New Era or Carhartt beanie with a logo on, these hats are premium quality and made here in the UK with love and care. 

MRD has always been about doing things properly. Small runs, carefully made, and built around making products that we are proud to put the MRD logo on.

This beanie continues that idea. Made in Britain by the legendary "Wonky Woolies" company who have sourced this specoial wool from Italy for this MRD small production run, it carries the original logo on the cuff as a simple statement piece for riders who know where the brand comes from and what it stands for. Just a simple, solid everyday hat that represents the history of MRD in BMX racing, freestyle and handmade bikes.

The Merino beanie!  A compact knitted beanie hat with super stretch due to the rib structure throughout.  This beanie hat is small enough to fit in your pocket when not in use and has enough stretch to fit from kids up to adult size heads.  Wear it under your hood on extreme weather days for an additional layer of natural insulation.

Merino wool is hypoallergenic and moisture wicking, which makes it the perfect fibre for an outdoor lifestyle.  This merino beanie hat will fold up once and provides you with a comfortable layer of natural insulation.  Our merino wool is sourced from Yeoman Yarns in Leicester who supply luxurious Italian merino wool from non-mulesed sheep.

Machine washable at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry.
